Building Bridges from Baltics to Bavaria

First Baltic Economic Forum in Germany was organized in Munich on March 6-7. The Forum had an ambitious objective to share experience between Germany and the Baltic countries in order to foster new cooperation opportunities, to create more effective ways of partnership for the benefits of the economies of the Baltic Sea region. Government officials of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia and representatives from engineering, IT and agriculture business sectors joined forces to discuss, exchange and promote Baltic industries. 


Startup Lithuania Recognized as Prime Example at Fostering Entrepreneurship by WEF and EIB

The European Investment Bank (EIB) and World Economic Forum (WEF) have today published a paper that identified around 25 concrete examples in Europe of real initiatives focused on innovation and entrepreneurship that can serve as starting points for implementation, acceleration and scaling up. There, Startup Lithuania was mentioned as a great example of catalysing the entrepreneurial ecosystem.


Tvori, Right and Hi Jay Fast-Tracked to LOGIN Startup Fair

Tvori, a 3D animation making tool, Right, a robo-advisor for traders, and Hi Jay, an app allowing to meet native speakers and to learn foreign languages, were selected as three winners of Pitch Battle in Saint Petersburg, Russia, as a part of LOGIN Startup Fair and Lithuania’s Startup Visa Roadshow. These teams received Startup Passes and will travel to the LOGIN Startup Fair taking place on 24-25 of May in Vilnius.

Calling all Innovators! Lithuania’s new Fast-track Startup Visa Scheme For Non-EU Talent

Today, Lithuania launches a Startup Visa program that will make it easier for innovative entrepreneurs from outside the EU to set up operations in Lithuania. The program will enable non-EU startup founders and their families to fast-track their temporary residence permits. A detailed new website explaining the whole process has also been launched and made available for applications.
